WoodmenLife awarded $350,000 in scholarships to 307 recent high school graduates through its annual WoodmenLife Focus Forward Scholarship® program. Recipients were selected based on academic achievement, community service, and essays on patriotism.

Three exceptional students received the program’s top prize of $10,000 each:

  • Emma Brasher, a graduate of Lyon County High School in Eddyville, Kentucky, will attend Murray State University, where she plans to major in Animal Health/Pre-Veterinarian Studies.
  • Luke Wright, a graduate of Jena High School in Jena, Louisiana, will attend Louisiana Tech University, majoring in Accounting.
  • Alazay Moreno, a graduate of Weimar High School in Weimar, Texas, will attend Sam Houston State University, where she will major in Agricultural Education.

In addition to the $10,000 scholarships, the 2026 program awarded four $5,000 scholarships and 300 $1,000 scholarships, helping deserving students across the country pursue their higher education goals.
