WoodmenLife Welcomes Falcon Hatchlings to the World
We’re happy to announce three of the four peregrine falcon eyasses (baby falcons) have hatched atop the WoodmenLife Tower. After the first baby emerges, the others will usually follow within 24-36 hours, so we’re waiting on welcoming one more to the world. When all the eyasses have been hatched, they will fledge (develop their wings) for 4-5 weeks before their parents teach them how to hunt out of the nest. These hatchlings will grow quickly! You won’t want to miss out in watching their early stages of life.
