WoodmenLife Tower to Light Purple for Chiari Malformation Awareness Month

Omaha, Nebr. – Tonight the WoodmenLife Tower will be purple to spread awareness about Chiari Malformation.

According to Chronic Pain Partners, this disorder is a serious neurological condition in which the brain herniates through the skull putting pressure on the nerves and spinal cord, disrupting the normal flow of cerebrospinal fluid. This causes debilitating pain and life-threatening symptoms. For the more than 300,000 people in the U.S. with this condition, there is no known cure.

WoodmenLife will share this on social media with the hashtag #LightWoodmenLifeTower.

To see a schedule of upcoming tower lightings or to request one, visit the WoodmenLife Tower Lighting Partnership website.
