WoodmenLife Tower Lit in Orange

WoodmenLife Tower to Light Orange for World Sight Day

Tonight the WoodmenLife Tower will be orange for World Sight Day. October is National Disability Employment Month, so WoodmenLife is proud to bring awareness to local organizations like Outlook Enrichment, whose mission is to positively impact everyone who is blind or visually impaired.

The mission of World Sight Day is to reinforce the importance of eye health and promote advocacy and communications about that. To learn more, visit the World Sight Day website.

This lighting is also an opportunity to mark National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Inside WoodmenLife, associates set time aside to learn from peers about their lives and work, and how they work past disabilities. You can learn more about this month — which has been observed for 75 years — on the Department of Labor website.

WoodmenLife will share this on social media with the hashtags #WorldSightDay and #LightWoodmenLifeTower and tag @OutlookEnrich.

To see a schedule of upcoming tower lightings or to request one, visit the WoodmenLife Tower Lighting Partnership website.
