WoodmenLife Tower's 50th Anniversary

WoodmenLife Tower Anniversary Celebrates Shared Commitment

On June 6, WoodmenLife celebrated the 50th anniversary of the WoodmenLife Tower with a block party. The event gave associates and members of the community a chance to honor First Responders and raise money for our National Community Focus of fighting hunger.

Local First Responders were invited and received a complimentary  meal. Members of the Omaha Police Department Mounted Patrol, including Valor, a horse purchased with a donation from WoodmenLife, and Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert also attended.

All proceeds from the anniversary celebration were donated to the Food Bank for the Heartland’s Strike Out Hunger campaign. During the month of June, WoodmenLife associates raise more than $43,400 and volunteered 55 hours at the food bank, which provided more than 134,000 meals.
