WoodmenLife Promotes Wieland to Director and Associate General Counsel
WoodmenLife is pleased to announce the promotion of Joseph H. Wieland to Director and Associate General Counsel in its Legal Division.
In this role, Wieland reviews contracts with vendors and serves as a legal resource for the Fraternal Division and Human Resources. He also oversees Facilities and Support Services in the Administrative Division.
Wieland graduated from Creighton University in 2003 with a B.A. in Organizational Communications and then from the Nebraska College of Law in 2012 with a Juris Doctorate.
Before joining WoodmenLife in April 2016 as a Contracts Administrator, he was an Associate Attorney with Smith Slusky Law. He was promoted to Assistant Legal Counsel in January 2017. He is a member of WoodmenLife Chapter 16 in Omaha.
