WoodmenLife Customer Benefits Now More Relevant to Today’s Families

After months of research and planning, WoodmenLife launches its updated customer benefits package today. The package includes new benefits such as the WoodmenLife Focus Forward Scholarship, which provides nearly $1 million annually for educational scholarships, and increases current amounts for the organization’s First Responder, Natural Disaster and Orphan’s Care benefits.

The organization has been providing benefits to customers since its founding in 1890. However, this is the first major update to the program since the 1970s.

“The needs of our customers have changed dramatically over the past few decades,” said President & CEO Pat Dees. “We are committed to improving and protecting their lives, not only through our life insurance products, but also through these value-added benefits that are more relevant to the needs of today’s families and can help them provide for their loved ones.”

In addition to the benefits geared toward families, WoodmenLife’s customer benefit package also includes a set of benefits designed to help customers join together to make a difference in the communities in which they live and work. These include family activities, volunteering opportunities and recognition awards.

“Family, community and country are core values around which our customers come together,” said Dees. “We want to continue to provide those opportunities for them to make that difference in their local communities.”
