Pensacola Chapter Wins National WoodmenLife Chapter of the Year Award

WoodmenLife Chapter 1 in Pensacola, Florida, has been announced as the winner of the inaugural National Chapter of the Year Award. The chapter successfully engaged its members by offering valuable incentives such as door prizes at their meetings, helping to drive a threefold increase in chapter meeting attendance since the pandemic. Increasing chapter meeting attendance is important because it opens the door to fostering partnerships that make a difference in local communities by helping those in need.

Chapter 1 also highlighted and explained the WoodmenLife’s Extras program during its meetings. Extras are a key differentiator that sets WoodmenLife apart from other insurance companies, by offering its members free benefits like scholarships, student loan repayment, access to online legal document preparation, disaster relief assistance, 30,000 discounts at nationwide vendors, and more. The chapter also invited meeting attendees to sign up to participate in their quarterly community projects such as delivering of food and supplies to local organizations, presenting flags to schools, churches, and volunteer fire districts.

The chapter also extended its support to the WoodmenLife Sales Force by inviting nonmembers to meetings and involving Sales Representatives in activities, contributing to the addition of 30 new members in 2023. Along with the award, Chapter 1 will receive a check for $10,000 to continue its work in the community.

“I’m incredibly proud of the work Chapter 1 has done to engage members and give back to the community,” said Robby Molony, Vice President, Fraternal at WoodmenLife. “This level of member engagement is a testament to the power of our shared commitment to family, community and country,” he added.

The Chapter of the Year Award recognizes and celebrates WoodmenLife chapters that actively support the Sales Force, establish and manage strong partnerships and effectively engage their communities. Additionally, four finalists and 20 regional winners were selected based on their activity in 2023.
