James Gilbert Named Regional Director, Texas Northeast/Oklahoma
James Gilbert of Flint, TX, was appointed Texas Northeast/Oklahoma Regional Director (RD), effective Aug. 1, 2024. He had served as Mississippi North RD since 2020.
In this position, Gilbert will help to guide four WoodmenLife Recruiting Sales Managers and 29 Sales Representatives to serve WoodmenLife members throughout the two states.
Gilbert joined WoodmenLife in December 2007 as a Sales Representative. In December 2015, he was promoted to Recruiting Sales Manager (RSM) in Chattanooga, TN. In 2016, he became RSM in Bristol, TN. Gilbert has achieved Club, Cabinet and Super Star levels numerous times during his career.

Gilbert is a member of Chapter 93 in Bristol, TN, Chapter 111 in Greeneville, TN, and Chapter 1150 in Bluff City, TN. He was also president of Chapter 6 in Chattanooga, TN, for several years. He embraced Fraternalism as a Sales Rep and as an RSM, and he continued to do so as an RD in Mississippi North. Gilbert continues his mission of giving back in Texas NE/Oklahoma.
He is active in the community, having served as deacon of his church for 22 years. Gilbert served on the Board of Directors of an assisted living facility for more than 15 years, including a term as Board President. He also served on the Board of Directors of the East Tennessee Fraternal Corp.
In his spare time, Gilbert enjoys spending time with his family, watching college football and woodworking. He and his, wife, Missy, have two daughters and four grandchildren.
