Chris Sparkman Named Regional Director, Mississippi North
Chris Sparkman of Saltillo, MS, was appointed to the role of Regional Director of the Mississippi North region, effective Aug. 1, 2024. He began his WoodmenLife career as a Sales Representative in the Tennessee East region in 2015. Sparkman was then promoted to Recruiting Sales Manager in Tennessee East in 2017.
Sparkman has earned several recognitions during his WoodmenLife tenure. He won the Sure Start Trophy in 2015 and earned Recruiting Sales Manager of the Year honors for Tennessee East in 2020, 2022 and 2023. He also finished in the top three nationally for total recruits in 2023.
Before joining WoodmenLife, Sparkman earned a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Temple University, a master’s degree from Trinity Theological Seminary and a doctorate from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He served as a pastor for 18 years.

Sparkman holds his Fraternal Insurance Counselor Fellow (FICF) designation and has his Series 6 and Series 63 securities licenses. He belongs to WoodmenLife Chapter 879 in Cookeville, TN, Chapter 900 in Crossville, TN, and Chapter 1110 in Sparta, TN. He’s an active volunteer with the YMCA, his church and the American Legion.
In his spare time, Sparkman enjoys running, playing basketball and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Sherri, have two children.
