Charity Returns Just in Time for New Camera

The new WoodmenLife HD FalconCam is now live! This means you can see the falcons in better quality than ever before! Check in to see what the falcons are up to on the FalconCam.

When setting up the camera, we were able to confirm that both Mintaka and Charity are back this year and it is speculated that she will be settling in to the covered nest.

Charity and Mintaka mated during 2015 and 2016, and Charity was banded in 2016 along with her chicks, Mintaka took up residence in the Tower two years ago after leaving the State Capitol’s nest. Together they have eight offspring including Dakota, Cheyenne, Endura, Hunter in 2016 and Charlotte, Penelope, Lilly and Max in 2015.

The Nebraska Peregrine Falcon Project brought falcons to the WoodmenLife Tower in 1988 when they released seven falcons. Today, there are now an estimated 1,650 breeding pairs in the United States and Canada.
