WoodmenLife Tower to Light for Constitution Day and Citizenship Day
Omaha, Nebr. – Tonight the WoodmenLife Tower will be red, white and blue Constitution Day and Citizenship Day, when we not only honor the signing of the constitution 233 years about but recognize the citizens of the United States of America.
Did you know the Department of Education requires schools to teach about these two day? Yep, really. If you’d like to get a few lessons yourself, please visit National Archives website. There are a lot of documents and learning tools to brush up. Census.gov has a great website for this, too. If you’d like to learn about what it means to be a U.S. citizen, please visit the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service website for resources.
WoodmenLife will share this on social media with the hashtags #ConstitutionDay, #CitizenshipDay and #LightWoodmenLifeTower.
