WoodmenLife Tower to Light Black and Blue to Honor Fallen Police Officer
Omaha, Nebr. — Tonight the WoodmenLife Tower will light black with a blue line in memory of Lincoln Police Department Investigator Mario Herrera, who was laid to rest today.
Herrera was shot Aug. 26 while serving a warrant in connection with a stabbing death in March, and he died 12 days later, leaving behind a legacy of service.
