WoodmenLife Tower is Lighting to Say Happy Halloween
Omaha, Nebr. – Tonight the WoodmenLife Tower will be orange and purple for this sweet and spooky holiday.
Good Housekeeping has some great facts to share. Here are three:
- The holiday is more than 2,000 years old, with trick-or-treating around since medieval times
- Illinois produces up to five times more pumpkins than any other state. Nice work, Illinois!
- Candy corn was originally called “chicken feed.”
Thank you, Good Housekeeping, for adding some Smarties to our sweets. Head there to learn more.
And since this is the first Halloween in 19 years to have a full moon, have an extra spooky night! Bwahaha!
WoodmenLife will share this on social media with the hashtags #Halloween and #LightWoodmenLifeTower.
