WoodmenLife Appoints New Regional Director for Northern Alabama
WoodmenLife has appointed Ronnie Lear the new Regional Director in northern Alabama, effective Feb. 1, 2019.
He’s taking the reins from Don Bray, whose WoodmenLife career spanned more than three decades and whose work impacted countless families and numerous community organizations in northern Alabama.
Lear joined WoodmenLife as a Sales Representative in 2001 and was promoted to Recruiting Sales Manager in Kentucky West in 2009. In his new role, Lear will motivate a Sales team of more than three dozen people, priming Representatives for success and mentoring Recruiting Sales Managers to build effective, high-achieving teams. He will also uphold WoodmenLife’s mission of helping communities by supporting the more than 31,000 members who live in his area as well as their regional outreach events.
His dedication to his career has earned him numerous honors. He was recognized as a top producer with the Top Hat Representative award in 2007 and the Top Hat recruiting award in 2016. Overall, he’s earned Super Star or Super Star Elite status 17 of the 18 years he’s been with WoodmenLife.
Prior to joining WoodmenLife, Lear served in the U.S. Army and Kentucky National Guard, and spent 16 years in local law enforcement.
Lear, who has helped with many chapters’ activities over the years, said serving others through community outreach activities has contributed to his success. Whether it is cooking pancakes or raising money for seniors, such activities have been close to his heart.
In addition to being a member of WoodmenLife Chapter 115 in Mayfield, he also is a member of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
Lear and his wife, Dina, have two children (Laken, 25, and Logan, 22).
