Woodmen of the World to Sponsor Fallen Officer Ride
Mocksville, NC – The Woodmen of the World North Carolina state offices are helping to sponsor a service camper and trailer that will follow hundreds of motorcyclists as they make their way across the state as part of North Carolina Project Lifesaver’s ride for fallen officers during Fallen Officer Awareness Month.
The ride will begin on May 7 in Columbus and will end on May 15 in Raleigh. Along with monetary contributions, Woodmen of the World is donating food and use of their cooker from the RC Payne Youth Camp in Randleman, as associates and members will be making lunch for the riders at “The Square” in downtown Mocksville at noon on Mother’s Day, May 9.
