Woodmen of the World Appoints Stamps Director, Enterprise Architect
Omaha, Neb. – Woodmen
of the World Life Insurance Society has announced that Robert Stamps has been appointed
Director, Enterprise Architect effective September 12, 2012.
In
his position, Stamps will provide technical strategic direction based on the
organization’s overall strategic plan. Prior to joining Woodmen of the World, he
served as President for Reed Alan Group in Omaha; Vice President, Service
Delivery and Chief Architect for Planet Group, Inc., in Omaha; and various
capacities within First Data Corporation, First Data Net, First Data Resources,
and Union Pacific Railroad. Stamps also served for 10 years in the United
States Army Reserve.
Stamps received his Bachelor of
Science degree from Peru State College in Peru, NE. He
has earned his Master of Computer Science Degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and his Master of Business Administration
degree from Bellevue University in Bellevue, NE.
He is a founding member of the Omaha Agile Users Group, a
member of the Stephen Center Guild and the German-American Society, as well as
a lifetime member of the American Legion. He and his wife, Julia, have two
children.
