What a difference a week makes!
It was one week ago yesterday that the falcon chicks were banded and their sexes were determined (two girls and two boys). At that time, they were unable to leave their nesting box and explore the ledge. Well look at them now! Their pin feathers are growing in, they are testing their wings and they are exploring outside their box. See the one on the bottom right? I noticed yesterday that the mother falcon would not bring their food to them in the box. She stayed out on the ledge and encouraged them to leave the box to get their food.
