Sullivan Central High School Student Receives $10,000 Scholarship
Luke Fox, a 2018 graduate of Sullivan Central High School in Blountville, TN was recently awarded a $10,000 WoodmenLife Focus Forward Scholarship®. Fox, who is a WoodmenLife member, submitted an application highlighting his high school grades, activities and volunteerism, as well as an essay on patriotism.
Fox, the son of Jeffery and Lisa Fox of Piney Flats, is active not only in his high school, where he is involved in Marching Band and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, but also in his community where he volunteers as a Middle School Football Coach, and in his church. He will be attending East Tennessee State University next year, where he plans to major in Political Science. His family are members of WoodmenLife TN Chapter 1150.

Dees. “WoodmenLife is thrilled to be able to recognize that achievement and help Luke realize his dream of furthering his education with one of our most prestigious scholarships.”
The WoodmenLife Focus Forward Scholarship Program is part of the organization’s member benefits. The program awards up to $1 million annually to members furthering their education in a two-year or four-year college, university or technical school. This year, WoodmenLife will award approximately 975 scholarships ranging from $500 to $25,000.
