Snow Day – Peregrine Falcon Facts

There is not much falcon watching that can be done on a snowy day unless you like viewing the fluffy white flakes pile up in the empty nests. On days like today, Hera and Zeus have found a nice warm place to ride out the early morning snow. They are probably entertained by watching us slip and slide around the streets of Omaha.

To pass the next few weeks while we wait for the weather to warm up and Hera to lay her clutch of eggs, we will be posting a series of Peregrine Falcon Facts. Check back every few days for a new peregrine falcon fact.
