May Day Baskets Raise Funds for Children’s Respite Care Center

Omaha, Neb. – On May 1, Woodmen of the World’s Executive Offices and Legal Division sold nearly 500 May Day baskets, raising $1,878 for Children’s Respite Care Center (CRCC).

In addition to selling the handmade May Day baskets, raffle tickets were sold for a chance to win an I-Pad2. “Thank you to everyone who contributed, we were surprised and pleased to sell close to 500 baskets. Our associates gave a lot of positive feedback; they enjoyed taking part in the old May Day basket tradition and supporting a great cause.” said President and CEO, Larry King.
